Pacifica Group retains 4 ISO Certificates upon re-award of ISO:27001
On 14th May Pacifica Group received recertification of their ISO:27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS). The certification is awarded by the British Assessment Bureau and demonstrates an organisation’s investment in the people, processes and technology required to sufficiently protect data.
The certificate is obtained on completion of a 3-day external audit which reviews an organisation’s practices, policies and procedures to assess whether the ISMS meets the standard requirements. The ISO:27001 was originally awarded in 2018, prior to law changes brought about by GDPR, and is audited on a yearly basis with recertification every 3 years.
Certification provides evidence to customers, clients, investors and other interested parties that information security is being managed in accordance with international best practice. ISO:27001 compliance is becoming increasingly important as statutory requirements, including GDPR, make it mandatory for organisations to protect personal data.

The Management System certification for ISO:27001 Information Security accompanies three other ISO Management System certifications held by Pacifica Group; ISO:9001:2015 Quality, ISO:14001:2015 Environment and ISO:45001 Health and Safety. This demonstrates that all of the organisation’s working practices are compliant with the highest possible international standards.
